We had a great turn out for the April 17th.Steel Challenge Match.  We had 27 shooters with a total of 34 entries.  Once again, we had 3 ladies and 1 junior shooter show up.  The junior shooter finished 4th overall which was a great finish behind some grandmaster shooters.  The Steel Challenge competitors would like to thank club member Andy Warden for all of his work  on C range to allow us to have a little more set up room. Everyone that saw the improvements was very impressed with the work.

Well 13 shooters decided the cold weather was not going to keep them from shooting.  A total of 16 guns were shot, with propane heaters and hand warmers in use between rounds.  Still not bad for a January day.  Results are posted in practiscore.

Well, the cold weather didn't stop 16 shooters from having a good time.  Portable propane heaters and hand warmer packs helped keep trigger fingers working.  Some very good scores were shot and nobody complained.  Thanks again to all who pitched in and helped to make the shoot run smoothly.

Another beautiful day to shoot.  Match started out chilly but long sleeves, jackets and hats were soon removed to shoot.  17 shooters participated with a total of 25 guns.  We had a pre-match meeting and everyone wanted to continue shooting through the winter.  So we will plan to continue to schedule matches but will be starting at 10 instead of 9. The extra 2 stages for a total of 6 stages went well.  Started at 9 and wrapped up and departed by 3.   Results are linked to below.  Thanks to all who showed and helped make the match enjoyable.
