April 2021

We are now back to our usual shooting schedules for the Summer months to include:

Skeet matches are once again charging entry fees and supplying targets since the acquisition of targets by the club.  Wednesday shoots remain "Members & invited guests only" but the 4th Saturday Skeet shoots are open to the public, also with entry fees required once again.

Ladies Night at the Range returns on the third Thursday evening of each month, ending in September.  Check-in time is 5:30 with firing beginning ~6:00 PM.

Be sure to check our web page calendar for any last-minute cancellations due to weather, etc.

All ranges will be closed to firing beginning at 4:30 PM on Saturdays in April (10th, 17th & 24th) due to an agreement with the Lion's Club that we don't interfere with their Turkey Shoots on those days.  This is for April ONLY.

Daylight Saving Time is here so the shooting season is pretty much open again!!  We start off with the cancellation of the Cowboy Action Match for Easter Sunday due to family obligations for the Range Officers and shooters alike.

Bullseye  matches will begin again on the second and fourth Thursday evenings from 8 April through 23 September.  Check-in time is 5:30 with firing starting ~6:00.

There will be changes in the Skeet scheduling and participation levels as target purchases are being negotiated at this time to possibly open up those events to non-members again on our old schedule with targets supplied by the club.  Watch this site for info on those developments.

UPDATE.....Skeet matches on the 4th Saturday of the month are now open to the public.

Wednesday shoots remain "Members & guests only"

As it stands now (03-13-21) the rest of the schedule is back in force as in the past.  Events will be added or eliminated as decided at the monthly meetings on the first Monday of each month.  Check the calendar before showing up to shoot at any of our scheduled events as last-minute changes will take place there.

Enjoy the warmer weather in the mean time and we'll see you at the range!

We start off with a cancellation.  The Cowboy Action Match originally scheduled for 2-7-21 is cancelled due to snow in the forecast.

NRA Action Pistol matches will begin on 6 March and continue through the first Saturday in August.  After that date a determination will be made for more possible AP events into the Fall.  Other shooting events on the calendar include Skeet, Rimfire Benchrest Rifle, Vintage/Centerfire Benchrest Rifle, Steel Challenge and others that will be added to include Bullseye as the weather warms up.

Check the calendar before showing up for a match as it will get updated on short notice at times to show cancellations, time changes, etc.

August 2020

We are back on a regular schedule for the matches and don't foresee any major changes in that respect, so come on out and shoot with us!  The first change from years past is that there will be a September Cowboy Action Match at our club on September 6th since the State Matches have been cancelled.

Vintage Rifle Benchrest and Centerfire Benchrest  matches are being combined to run  at the same time on the third Sunday of the month beginning on August 16, 2020.  The separate rules for each of those will apply to each event as listed on the left side of the home page under "Matches".  Pick the appropriate category and come shoot these fun matches.

There are plans underway to update the Club and Range Rules within the club, so pay attention to your emails if you are a member.  These won't probably be finished until the next meeting on September 8th.  There has been extensive damage to some of our steel targets due to unapproved ammo being used at the club and this must be rectified due to the expense and labor involved in repair and upkeep of this area of range equipment.
